What if brown, blue, or yellow stains appear after overheating?
These stains can be easily dissolved with a few drops of vinegar or lemon juice while washing. Do not use water while doing so. Use a non-abrasive cleaner to wash the pot.

What if food sticks to the bottom of the pan due to overheating?
If food sticks to the bottom of the cookware, there are two methods to remove it.
1. Fill the pot or pan with hot water and let it soak for a few minutes. Then wash with a non-abrasive cleanser.
2. Heat some water in the pan and the food should remove itself from the bottom. Then wash with a non-abrasive cleanser

Can you use traditional methods of cooking with Intercare cookware?
Yes, but remember to always use low or medium heat.

What if the food is not ready after the suggested preparation time?
Continue cooking at the same temperature. Do not turn up the heat under the pot, as this may cause overheating and may burn the food

Do's/Don'ts

Do's:

• Turn down or turn off the heat setting if overheating occurs.
• Begin cooking with a cold pot and frying with a heated pot.
• Add water if the food does not naturally contain any water (rice, pastas, beans, etc.).
• Allow the larger Intercare units more time to heat up.
• Use the soft side of the sponge to clean and maintain the cookware.
• Dishwasher safe.

Don'ts Do's/Don'ts

• Allow pots and pans to heat-up into the red zone of the Thermo-controller. This causes overheating and food will burn.
• Lift the lid while cooking. If you do, add two teaspoons of water to the pot and close the lid.
• Use abrasive cleanser or coarse cleaning pads such as steel wool on the cookware.
